The right path
“Originally from Portugal, I joined an NHS practice when I moved to Manchester. Although I wanted to continue my studies, I was unsure what path to take. After some research into what was available, dental implants became of interest. I therefore took the one-year PG Cert in Implant Dentistry with Ucer Education. It seemed to be the best available at the time and it has only improved further since then.

Balancing theory and science
“For any dentist starting out with dental implants, it’s important to first learn the theory and science behind the procedures and to then gain some practical experience. Not only is this a waste of money, but it also prevents the individual from progressing in their career.
