Now in its 25th year, Ucer Education is delighted to announce that its Multi-system Certificate Course has achieved EduQual Level 7 accreditation, as a formal Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry.

The course, which is held at the impressive ICE Postgraduate Dental Institute and Hospital, is now a vocationally-related qualification, accredited and awarded by EduQual, an established UK awarding body which offers a range of qualifications that are credit-rated for the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).

Course leader, Professor Cemal Ucer BDS, MSc, PhD, Oral Surgeon, a highly-regarded authority on implant education and a contributor to the GDC/FGDP’s Training Standards in Implant Dentistry (2016)  commented:

“We are extremely excited about the announcement that EduQual has awarded Level 7 accreditation to our course. Achieving such status is extremely advantageous to our students, when striving to become more confident and competent in all aspects of implant dentistry they will now gain a well-recognised quality assured HE qualification as opposed to a certificate.”

Commencing 21st November 2018, the 12-day (one day-a-month) Postgraduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry programme will focus on academic teaching with practical preclinical skills development. To achieve the required clinical competence for independent clinical practice of implant dentistry, the academic education is followed by clinical skills development on live patients provided by the center preparing the trainees to meet the GDC/FGDP’s Training Standards in Implant Dentistry (2016).
